SECOND EDITION : MYKONOS POP UP x SOHO HOUSE

On the weekend of July 21st, we organized a pop-up event in collaboration with Soho House in Mykonos, Greece, a heavenly place in the Cyclades.

A couple of months ago, Chris our friend at Soho house reached out to us and suggested we plan an event for this summer. Capitalizing on the success of the first edition in 2022, we were very humbled to have been offered the opportunity to be back this time around, and not for 2 days only  but for 3 full days. There we were, back on our favorite island, with our favorite people at Soho house.

I arrived a day earlier with my best friend Therese who flew from Switzerland to support and assist me.

The space allocated to us was the same as the previous year. A square space, under two arcades with large windows in the background. With air and wind flowing through, the space creates a perfect scenery for our clothes.

Thanks to my first experience with the space, we were more at ease and able to work efficiently. Within a couple of hours, we installed two Alledjo branded podiums, three racks, over fifty hangers and other decorative features. Right outside of the defined space, there was a big wooden table which we used as a working desk and decorated with and Alledjo branded cube.

For better display and circulation, we installed the racks against the windows which created an harmonious view and left the center of the space open. We installed a changing room within the area to make it a smoother experience.

All details were simple, minimalist and yet colorful with an immediate immersion into the world of Allëdjo.

We opened on Friday, July 21st and the first clients were familiar faces from last year. They came back to shop !  A few people said : « I was looking forward to seeing you this year » What an awesome feeling to open the season in Mykonos with returning customers.

We were all dressed up in Allëdjo and donning different pieces from one day to the other. The first day, I was wearing the Kyoto shirt, collarless shirt, loose cut, kaki patterned in white floral motifs , paired with a silky bermuda and white sneakers. The second day, I wore the Porto Cervo shirt, a long sleeve shirt, blue, pink, white and green, loose cut with classical collar. On the third and last day, I wore the Mykonos shirt, long sleeves, deconstructed collar, loose cut – blue and white pattern. Therese wore respectively, the Porto Cervo Shirt, the Mykonos shirt and the Ibiza lightweight shirt.

The Soho House team was also dressed in Allëdjo. Antonia, the membership manager was wearing El Olivo shirt;  Chris, the lead membership manager was wearing the Cotonou set. George the Club manager was wearing the Porto Cervo shirt.

The second edition Pop up x Soho house has unfolded in the smoothest way. For a couple of days, we brought with us the wanderlust spirit of Allëdjo, and opened doors to Soho House's worldwide community, to discover, experience, and feel our brand. A great experience full of sun, joy, and great energy. It was truly an honor to see familiar faces again, and connect with new ones.

A seasonal rendez-vous
